The European Commission has released its €95.5 billion third work programme. Significant budget increases in Clusters 5 and 6 stand out.
The third Work Programme introduces a stronger focus on green and digital twin transitions, with Cluster 5 (Climate) and Cluster 6 (Food & Bioeconomy) receiving the largest proportional increases. Key deadlines for 2025 calls have been confirmed, with several RIA and IA topics opening in Q2. Agranas is tracking all relevant calls and will publish a full analysis in the coming days.
The grant ceiling in the blended finance component rises to €2.5M, while new valuation criteria for the equity component come into effect.
The European Innovation Council has revised its blended finance terms for the EIC Accelerator. The grant portion ceiling rises from €2.0M to €2.5M, while the equity component now follows updated valuation methodology introduced after consultation with the EIC Fund.
